Hey, I was wondering what software you used as a synthesizer or if you used hardware what type of decent software is out there. I am building electric drums and module for a college project and it is similar, using a microcontroller with MIDI output. Also I am a little confused as to what form of MIDI the synthesizer will accept 10bits with 1 start 1 stop and 8 data, what do the 8 data bits consist of? volume channel ect..
